FAQ

At the beginning of the use of our ISOBUS stacks and basic software modules (ISOAgLib and ISOcores) our Project Start Fee (PSF) is due. It includes all necessary support services during the development phase at a fixed price. After the start of production, a one-time license fee is charged per device (implement ECU, tractor ECU, operator terminal or data logger). This also includes further support and maintenance of the software according to the AEF roadmap.

The use of our ISOBUS development and test tools (vt-designer, ISOsimulate Suite and ISOtest Suite) is done by an annual license (subscription), which can be cancelled annually. We will gladly provide you with a two-week test license. The software is activated by a USB dongle that has to be plugged into a pre-installed PC or laptop in order to work with the software. We will send this dongle to you once at the beginning for a shipping fee.

The ISOterminal Suite integrates the ISOcores of the company OSB connagtive and the Nav-Guide functionality of the company LACOS. With the ISOterminal Suite you get a software package that turns your display hardware in a very short time into a full ISOBUS terminal with a state-of-the-art user interface, with the functionalities UT, Task Controller with Section Control and Variable Rate Control, but also Guidance and with a matching steering controller in addition Auto-Steering and Auto-Turn. To integrate the ISOterminal suite into your terminal and tractor environment, an initial project with our partner company LACOS is usually necessary. The ISOBUS functionality provided via the ISOcores is included in the ISOterminal Suite price model.

Our ISOAgLib and ISOcores are provided as libraries and the ISOterminal Suite as a software package for your respective target hardware. For this we need access to your compiler and a corresponding sample project as well as contact to your development. Our ISOBUS tools are available as installers for Windows PCs. All our software is made available to you customer-specific on our download platform. We will inform you about updates by e-mail.

For our libraries and tools there are usually one to two updates per year, if needed even more. If you do not need the updates, you can continue to work with your current version. We will always inform you about the changes and enhancements that have been made. We guarantee for our ISOAgLib SE and ISOcores that we always incorporate and make available the function enhancements defined there within the scope of our maintenance after publication of new 'Released International Guidelines' (RIG) of the AEF. This usually happens within a maximum of 12 months.

Since the AEF only allows the certification of complete ISOBUS applications consisting of hardware, ISOBUS communication layer and software application, we cannot have our libraries certified separately. However, our software is certified as a component of numerous applications and ISOBUS systems at our customers. We guarantee the certifiability of your application using our software for all server- and client-side ISOBUS functionalities for which an AEF conformance test is available. We can support you in certifying your products and offer free support for problem analysis in case of compatibility problems in the test or in the field.
